KLSC achieves Swim 21 Accreditation!
Congratulations to all those who have work tirelessly to achieve the Swim 21 Certificate. It has taken several years and a lot of hard work by members od the club. The Committee would like to thank all those who contributed but in particular to Bridget Buckle who has coordinated it so well.

Press Report on World Masters Synchro Championships
Kingston Ladies Swimming club are pleased to report that their Masters Team have just returned from Sweden after competing in the World Masters Synchro Championships there. The swimmers, Francesca Stephens, Louise Chambers and Harriet Mutlow put in an exceptional performance in the Trio competition in their age group (20 – 29 years) and Francesca (same age group) gave her all in the solo event. Each event required 2 swims, a free routine and a technical performance to include specific figures. The overall standard in the championships was obviously very high but the girls, though nervous at the start, swam beautifully and took it in their stride. Almost 500 swimmers (ranging in age from 20 years to over 90!) took part in the championships which was held in Molndal near Gothenburg over 5 days. The next World Championships are to be held in Italy in 2012 and the girls and their coaches are already planning for it! Kingston Ladies is extremely proud of them all.
