Dates for 2011 competition to be decided

Competitions

These vary greatly in length depending on the type of competition. The competition Secretary will provide you with details of specific events as they arise.

When preparing for a competition it is important you take the following items:

Black costume

White hat

Goggles

Nose clip

A.S.A. registration card (Important!)

Poolside shoes

Socks

2 large towels

Club T shirt

Black shorts

All the above items are available for purchase from the club desk at the Malden Centre.

You will also need to have your hair ‘gelled’

Spring Show

The Club presents a Spring Show on the last Saturday of January at The Morden Park Pool.

All swimmers take part, even the newest member. It is a great opportunity to show your family and friends what you can do so bring them all along to this fun event.

After the show there are refreshments and it is lovely if every one can bring something. The Social Secretary will be in touch with you to see what you would like to offer a couple of weeks before the day.

Tickets will be sold at the desk on Saturday mornings from late November and on the door on the night. We also have a raffle.

The event starts at 6pm but swimmers will need to be at the pool by 5.30 to get ready in their show costumes.
